The Markets in Financial Instruments Directive 2014/65/EU (“MiFID II”) and the Markets in Financial Instruments and Amending Regulation (“MiFIR”), were implemented on 3rd Jan 2018. They provide a cross EU member legislative framework for the operation of financial markets.
