Consumer Duty Sets Higher Standards For Financial Services Customers - 31/07/23




Today (Monday 31 July 2023) sees the launch of the FCA's UK Consumer Duty.


This new regulation requires retail financial services companies to provide their clients with a 'good outcome' by:


  • Acting in good faith

  • Identifying and managing foreseeable harms

  • Providing all the information necessary for clients to make informed decisions
